1. Our business
We offer language training through online courses, private tutoring (together, "Products") and various offline activities such as summer language schools.
2. Personal data and cookies
2.1 The user who has in any way transferred his contact or other personal data to the Website agrees to the provisions of the Privacy Policy.
2.2 We use cookies and other technical means (e.g. Google Analytics) to track Website visitors. The use of cookies is necessary to carry out marketing activities and ensure the proper functioning of the Website.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 If you have purchased a Product with a one-time payment, you are entitled to a seven (7) day full refund from the date of purchase.
3.2 If you have purchased a subscription-based Product, you are entitled to a refund of your last subscription payment within seven (7) days from the date of your last subscription payment. You may cancel your subscription at any time.
3.3 Any refunds outside of the periods set out in 3.1. and 3.2 above are in our sole discretion.
3.4 We reserve the right to refuse refunds to students who abuse this Refund Policy. Examples of abuse include, but are not limited to, requesting refunds after completing the course.
4. Access to the Products
4.1 To use all functionality of a Product, you may be required to install a desktop (e.g. Skype or Zoom) or mobile (e.g. a messenger) application. We do not require you to install or use any third-party applications that require any additional payments from you.
4.2 We try to use technologies and applications that are accessible with a reasonable Internet connection from anywhere in the world, but we do not guarantee that a particular application will be accessible to you. If you cannot access our Products, please contact us immediately.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 We do not allow any of the following activities:
5.1.1 activities that violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;
5.1.2 spamming. Do not use the Website or any of our Products to send spam;
5.1.3 offensive, uncivil or disrespectful speech. Be civil and considerate towards other students and our staff;
5.1.4 personal data exploitation. We encourage our students to share limited personal data (e.g. introduce themselves in study groups). Do not use personal data of other students for any purposes not related to using our Products.
5.2 We reserve the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of this Agreement, including but not limited blocking access to our Products from a particular IP address or other user identifiers, or to refer the violation to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
6. Free of charge activities
6.1 We sometimes host webinars, free lessons and other educational and marketing activities free of charge for the user. To access such events, you will usually need to provide your contact details to us.
6.2 We may, in our sole discretion, prevent any user from attending a free event, or terminate any user's access to any free event.
7. Rights to materials
7.1 You may not in any way copy, distribute or transfer to third parties any materials posted on the Website or otherwise made available to you without our prior written consent.
7.2 If you believe that any material posted by us infringes on the intellectual rights of third parties, please inform us.
8. Changes to the Terms of Use
We may review and update this Agreement at any time in our sole discretion, and it is your responsibility to stay informed of those changes. All changes are effective immediately when posted and apply to all uses of the Website thereafter.
